This is one of our projects that we’ve been dying to share with you!  We’ve been alluding to it in several of our social media posts and we’re finally able to reveal this very exciting collaboration!

We’ve been fortunate enough to collaborate with Intercontinental Hotel The Rialto on several mini projects this month, focusing on different aspects of the hotel and fashion of course! The Intercontinental Hotel The Rialto is synonymous with vibrant Melbourne, it’s rich heritage and the sophistication of fashionable Collins St; a central location that allows clientele to access all that Melbourne has to offer. It is a unique  hotel and dining venue for the most stylish and discerning traveller.

This week’s post is all about High Coffee at the hotel’s Market Lane Bar.  Let us sum it up for you: Espresso martinis, scones, bagels, baguettes, quiches, pies, sweets … accompanied by beautiful champagne … mmm …  and coffee to finish of course!  What more could one ask for on a gorgeous Melbourne afternoon?

Intercontinental Hotel The Rialto has come up with a modern twist on the most classic of British traditions, afternoon tea.  The High Coffee is indeed a reflection of what is quintessentially Melbourne.  Melbourne’s café culture scene is world renown. Our city streets are abuzz with endless cafes and restaurants. The Hotel has combined the indulgence of high tea with Melbourne’s coffee obsession and delivers it in the most incredible surrounds, full of history and ambiance, sophistication and character.

The hotel is a sight to behold, enriched by the heritage of old Melbourne and oozing in stylish and opulent luxury. It was wonderful to experience the delights of such a gem in the middle of Collins St, Melbourne!  Right next door to Haigh’s chocolates!

Anyhow we won’t give too much away as our next post is all about the history and architecture of the hotel.

xoxo
